Having received repeat questions on the same subjects, I thought I would write a weekly column that might help answer some of these questions in the public forum. Understanding people is hard sometimes, yet it isn’t as difficult as you may think or others may be telling you.
Let me show you in the next series of weekly PowerLife columns.
Understanding people is easier when you understand some basic principles of human behavior. Those basic principles are what I will share with you in the weeks ahead. “Warning, Warning, Will Robinson” (Quick, what baby boomer TV series did that famous line come from?); some of these principles are currently being denied by elements of our culture, so fasten your seatbelts. I’m sure by the end of this series of columns I will have the opportunities to raise everyone’s eyebrows one way or another. It’s going to be fun. |

Everybody is talking about hope, from the politician to the stockbroker.
It even seems that the concept of hope had the audacity to help elect a president of the United States in the last election.
I have never seen so many people come forth with advice or explanations on hope. All of this causes me to scratch my head and think about what you and I are really hearing as we are being bombarded by the media daily with talk of hope.
